"Moving the Unmovable: Engineering the Rescue of the Highland Light" will be given by our guest speaker, Wayne Kalayjian, one of the main structural engineers who moved the Highland Light house in Cape Cod 450 away from an eroding cliffside in 1996. What a feat! Grab a seat outdoors and hear the fascinating details about how the centuries old, 66-ft tall brick light tower was moved to a safer location.
