Come celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Point Vicente Lighthouse with us on Saturday, April 11, 2026. A century of light is something to celebrate, admire and cherish! Free access to the lighthouse grounds, with an extended time to visit and enjoy the outdoors: 10am-4pm.

This 100th anniversary celebration for the public will coincide with the annual Whale Of A Day festival put on by the city of Rancho Palos Verdes at the Palos Verdes Interpretive Center (PVIC). This event is always well-attended and parking will be limited at PVIC. Off-site event parking is free, located at the Ken Dyda Civic Center (RPV City Hall, 30940 Hawthorne Blvd., Rancho Palos Verdes) with a free shuttle bus service to and from PVIC the entire day.
